Here's the story:

 

Back in October 2024, what should’ve been a simple emissions repair on my 2018 Volvo XC60 turned into a $6,500 nightmare when the drive shaft failed. I tried everything—credit increases, small loans—but the cost was just too much. After months of sitting at the dealer, my car was impounded and eventually repossessed.

That car wasn’t just transportation. It was my livelihood as a rideshare driver and my way to provide for my family. Losing it nearly cost us our home. Bills piled up, and life felt overwhelming.

Now, with our home secure, my next goal is to have reliable transportation again. In Georgia, public transit is almost nonexistent, and without a car, getting to work—and chasing bigger opportunities—is incredibly difficult. Financing isn’t an option right now either—my credit took a huge hit during this ordeal.

What makes this even more meaningful is that one of my biggest goals with getting back on the road is it allows me to pursue other options to earn a living.  Having a car again isn’t just about getting from point A to point B—it’s about being able to keep moving toward the life I’ve worked so hard to build.
